The Holopane is a holographic technology I invented in 2005. I wrote the specifications for it in 2006, and after several edits I decided to put it aside for a while. Now over a year later I think I should have went ahead and released it then. The primary reason I didn’t was that I wanted to redo the illustrations, but they’re fine for a first version. During that time my optimistic mood took a vacation and I became preoccupied with other projects.

Next month (January 2008) I will release it anyway. I’ll give it a minor edit to clean up anything I’ve overlooked and finalize a few things, but the document will remain relatively unchanged from its 2006 form.
